Apex Group Ltd, the Bermudian-based global financial services provider, has agreed to acquire Retransform from The Annet Group.

Retransform is a global real estate service provider offering proptech, technology solutions and business managed services to commercial, retail, residential and corporate real estate customers, ranging from individual owner-operators to some of the world’s largest real estate asset and fund managers.

Retransform’s tech-enabled solutions improve operational efficiencies for clients, benefiting people, the planet and prosperity.

Retransform is also a partner to many leading real estate software companies in addition to being Microsoft, Oracle and Salesforce experts.

Their solutions are used by more than 300 clients, supporting more than two billion square feet of real estate delivered through a team of more than 650 experts in offices across North America, Europe, the Middle East, India and Australia.

Peter Hughes, founder and CEO of Apex Group, said: “We continue to build Apex Group’s technological capabilities through strategic acquisitions, innovation and partnerships with market leading providers.

“We are pleased to announce our agreement to acquire Retransform, a clear leader in the development and implementation of solutions for the real estate industry, which will enable us to remain at the forefront of the technology evolution within our industry.

“By bringing Retransform’s technologies and capabilities into the group we will be able to better serve the needs of our real estate clients, by delivering a technology-enabled single-source solution, in a way which no one else can.”

Rohan Bulchandani, founder of Retransform and The Annet Group, said: "Retransform has been fortunate to serve the real estate industry for almost 25 years. We're thrilled to be joining Apex Group, which shares our values and will fuel our growth.

“Apex Group's single-source solution aligns with our focus on efficiency while improving client productivity. We're excited to bring our platforms and services to Apex Group’s clients, while our pre-existing, multinational clients will soon have the added benefit of receiving local support across 38 countries where Apex has offices.”

The addition of Retransform will allow Apex Group to act as a single-source provider of services across the entire life cycle of real estate investment funds, for both existing and new clients and will help drive positive environmental change in the real estate industry.

Apex Group and Annet are also establishing a joint venture to develop software in the areas of data analytics, valuation, and digital twins for real estate, leveraging Retransform’s existing 4SeeTM Analytics, ValereTM and SecureTM software platforms.

Apex said Retransform’s pioneering platform SecureTM offered innovative tools for the collection and analysis of environmental factors across built assets to help support the real estate sector in reducing energy usage and achieving a sustainable transition to Net Zero across property portfolios.
