Five lawyers from Appleby’s global private client & trusts practice, including two from the Bermuda office, have been recognised in the 2023 edition of the Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Guide.

Vanessa Schrum, a partner and group head of the private client & trusts practice in Bermuda, achieved a Band 1 ranking.

Counsel Caljonah Smith is ranked as an “Associate to Watch”.

Ms Schrum said: “These rankings demonstrate the range of expertise available across our global private client & trusts team, which continues to go from strength to strength.

“Equally, it is encouraging to see that we continue to receive fabulous feedback from our clients and we thank them for their endorsements."

The firm said this latest recognition for the group’s private client and trusts practice follows Appleby being named a finalist for International Legal Team of the Year at the upcoming 2023/24 Step Private Client Awards.
