SailGP partners with Butterfield and Mastercard
SailGP has announced a partnership with Butterfield and Mastercard for this weekend’s Apex Group Bermuda Sail Grand Prix.
The partnership names Butterfield and Mastercard as the event’s official payment partner and Butterfield as an official partner.
Ben Johnson, SailGP’s chief revenue officer, said both Butterfield and Mastercard “share SailGP’s commitment to delivering world-class experiences, and their expertise in financial services will play an important role in enhancing how fans engage with our event, both on-site and beyond”.
As part of the collaboration, guests who make purchases using their Butterfield Mastercard card at the Race Stadium fan store will receive a 20 per cent.
Racing in Bermuda will take place on May 9 and 10, with teams in identical high-tech F50 catamarans racing at speeds approaching 60mph.
