Disruption to some public services as BIU holds meeting

Meeting: Bermuda Industrial Union president Chris Furbert (File photograph)

Some public services will be interrupted today while unionised staff hold a meeting.

The Bermuda Industrial Union will be holding a general membership meeting between 10am and midday, bringing disruptions to some services.

There will be no bus or ferry service from 9am until around 12.30pm, and other services such as trash collection and postal delivery may also be affected.

All services are expected to resume shortly after the conclusion of the meeting.
