Workshop series to help develop positive habits

The Department of Workforce Development will launch a workshop series next month intended to help people develop their workplace expertise.

The six-part series, organised in partnership with Masc Ltd, is designed to help participants strengthen their personal and interpersonal skills.

A government spokesman said “The Reset: Work Ready Series” will be held at Bermuda College and facilitated by Ernest Peets Jr and Fitzgerald Williams of Masc Ltd.

He added: “This initiative reflects the department’s continued commitment to supporting workforce development through programmes that address both technical and essential employability skills.

“Through this partnership, participants will get practical guidance and strategies they can use in the workplace and in their personal lives to build resilience, boost productivity, and achieve long-term success.”

Sessions will focus on a range of topics including getting your mind ready for work, staying focused, emotional control, communications, dealing with conflict and building habits that stick.

The series will kick off on June 1 with further sessions on June 8, June 22, June 29, July 6 and July 13, with each session starting in the West Hall Training Room at 5.30pm.

Those interested in taking part can register online at the Department of Workforce Development’s courses page.
