Keeping hope alive
August 26, 2011
Dear Sir,
Bermuda is in another world, a damaged ship on the rough seas of insanity. However, every now and then there is on-board flickers of hope in dedicated, talented and expert individuals who work hard at providing a small measure of enjoyment for the ship’s crew and ship’s guest. These individuals are the only ones keeping the spirit of excitement and hope for an enjoyable Island vacation destination alive for the ship’s passengers.
They are Tony Brannon, an individual who has always had his finger on the pulse of Bermuda and able to predict, encourage and provide what the real solutions to Tourism are, Bermuda’s local musicians, who continuous provide unselfishly for the solace and entertainment of locals and visitors alike, and particular individuals like Dawn Hanley, promoter of the excellent performances of Hamilton Harbour Nights (like the Pre-Cup Match July 27 Harbour Nights presentation and Destination Dockyard) who is a veteran TV and Radio personality in entertainment for all ages of the population in Bermuda, and Sound Concepts, promoter of live great entertainment and outstanding sound.
Last but not least is the Department of Commerce who continuous shows its commitment and flexibility toward everything that will keep the ship afloat, pacify its crew and give value for the buck to guest.
