Govt is out of its depth

August 29, 2011

Dear Sir,

Bermuda has always survived in spite of itself.

However, the prediction of a deeper recession in Friday’s

Royal Gazette is troubling not because of its implications but because Government has probably no idea how to deal with it.

You get the sense that PLP ministers would welcome losing the next election and be quite relieved to relinquish control because they are totally out of their depth.

Let’s hope there is an election soon so that people in the opposition who know what they’re doing are able to sort out our economic mess and salvage something before it’s too late.

Bermuda is on the brink.
