Maligning the innocent

Dear Sir,
There is something wrong with this picture. How is it that those who care for the defenceless are now maligned and cast as emotional zealots?
The SPCA is a longstanding and internationally recognised and respected animal advocacy group. There is no reason I can understand that would prevent the Island’s animal wardens from clamouring to work in conjunction with the SPCA inspectors and together strive to rid this Island from the widespread abuse and cruelty shown towards Venom and all those like him.
