Dear Sir,

A recent documentary film entitled “West Indies Calling” has recently been uploaded to the internet at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViGwxJloI70. The film is of interest as it contains a shot of a Bermudian woman, apparently in the Royal Air Force or an allied service, operating a radio, possibly a dispatcher or air traffic controller at a military airfield. As part of enlarging the National Museum's collections on Bermudians who served here and overseas, we have captured the image and will obtain a DVD of the film. In this regard, we hope you can publish this letter and the picture of our countrywoman, in the hope that someone may be able to identify her. If so, they can ring me on 704-5480 or e-mail director@bmm.bm

DR EDWARD HARRIS

Executive Director

National Museum of Bermuda

This woman was featured in a BBC documentary about Caribbean servicemen and women who fought in the Second World War. Do you know who she is?
