April 4, 2012Dear SirA great job was done in containing and putting out the Marsh Folly fire, the work of the firemen and Marsh Folly staff rightly praised. There was also another group that worked hard to assist, the soldiers from the Bermuda Regiment who were there on the Thursday night and again all day Friday. Recognition of this effort would, I am sure, be appreciated, along with that of the employers of the part-time soldiers who, responding to the emergency, readily gave the necessary time off work.
