Virtual destruction

December 10, 2012

Dear Sir,

To Warwick residents: The PLP Government has virtually destroyed our parish.

The Special Development Order granted has resulted in the worst looking buildings in Bermuda. The Grand Atlantic is ugly and the condominiums are not selling. This land was zoned woodland reserve and tourism development before the SDO.

The developer is now running a quarrying operation and is bulldozing the land and trucking it out every day. He is denuding our land. Houses in the area are being covered with dust which seeps into the tanks.

If the PLP Government is re-elected would the developer be granted another SDO? He has already stated he intends to build a further 100 condominiums (one-bedroom) further ruining our parish.
