Thursday’s
Royal Gazette had another in the decades-long series of ‘same old, same old’ Eva Hodgson letters.
Eva is off again on her tangent that after hundreds of years, the black community is still disadvantaged and, by implication, its everybody else’s fault. Hey, Doc, did you notice that your beloved PLP, the black party of Bermuda, had the Government, the cookie jar and every other tool in its grasp for 14 long years?
If they couldn’t make a dent in your assertion...who do you think can? You know, after all these years, Eva, do you think anybody not named Lynne actually believes that there aren’t incredible opportunities out there for everybody including black people.
Might be useful if they got off their collective butts and stopped complaining...and take a grab at what’s on offer.
