May 21, 2013Dear Sir,This morning I took my daughter to the bus stop near the end of Point Finger Road so that she can catch the # 2 Ord Road bus to school.There were two buses that arrived at the same time (7:50am) and my daughter got lost in the bustle of people trying to get onto either bus. As a result her bus left without her.She is tiny so the driver clearly did not see her. I was calling her and telling her to come along and I would drive her into town in time for the next bus. I was left with a smile on my face when a man stuck his head out the bus window and said to her “come on this bus the driver has called ahead to your bus and asked them to wait at the stop sign”.My smile got even bigger when I pulled out of the driveway and looked down to the end of the road and the same gentleman had gotten off the bus with my daughter and was running her down to her waiting bus.I want to say THANK YOU to the bus drivers and the kind gentleman for ensuring that my daughter made it to school safely today.
