June 6, 2013Dear Sir,We are most grateful for the sponsorship we received from the Bermuda Arts Council and the Department of Tourism for ‘We are Climbin’ Jacob’s Ladder’, the Pan-Jazz Festival and the Nellie Musson Music Festival. We offered free tickets and a taxi to our visitors and the 40 who came seemed most appreciative. Recently, we received an unsolicited thanks from one visitor and her daughter.The letter has proven to be a boost for the Giant Steps Band and the cast of Jacob’s Ladder who have decided to perform on Sunday, June 9, at 4pm at St Paul AME. To those who have come to the first four performances we say thank you. We have been encouraged by the excellent skills demonstrated by our church partners - Angle Street - First Church of God, Mt Zion, Evening Light Pentecostal Church and Glory Temple. These committees can do a lot to inculcate skills in our youth.
