Dear RG, congratulations are due

September 26, 2013

Dear Sir,

I don't know if praise for the Editor is allowed in your paper but as an avid reader of The Royal Gazette I have noticed a worthy change in the overall content.

The RG has become a real BERMUDIAN newspaper. By that I mean the pages devoted to BERMUDIANS; their stories including their personal lives, their accomplishments, their hopes and desires, and yes their tragedies.

It is what a Bermuda newspaper should be.

But the RG also covers the pertinent foreign news. The SPORTS section covers well not only the Local sports but the overseas news of a variety of sports.

Your BUSINESS section is excellent reading, not only for your Bermudian reader but also for our International business leaders.

Your LETTERS to the EDITOR have become more substantial and getting a wider participation of the authors and I am sure a wider readership.

Perhaps this letter will encourage input from some readers with some additional suggestions for improvements.

My thanks for you Mr Editor also includes your entire staff for surely it is a true team effort.
