Praise for kind bus driver
October 2, 2013
Dear Sir,
I have copied you in on a letter I sent to the Public Transportation Board:
Dear PTB Customer Service,
I just wanted to say a big thank you to the driver of the #8 bus leaving Hamilton at 7.15am today, 3rd October. My daughter who normally waits with her brother, who wasn't there today, was going on this particular bus for the first time alone. She's only small and is quite easy to miss. The bus went past her, but then noticed her waiting and stopped a wee bit down the road and a passenger got off to go and collect her.
This was very kind of both the bus driver to stop, and the passenger to go out of their way to get her.
It is things like this that make the start of a child's day special, and it's a great message for our children, that even the smallest of them count.
So thanks to PTB, and thanks to the passenger! I appreciate your care for our children.
