Too many hurtful and cruel accusations

March 17, 2014

Dear Sir,

I was shocked and saddened to see on the front page of The Royal Gazette today, an assassination of a man’s character and work performance.

Surely these matters should be worked out in committee meetings and not for all to see; then their decisions can be decided and professional statements made, so that it does not cause humiliation and pain.

The right and wrongs of the situation has no bearing on the fact that it is cruel for the family’s and friends on a small island like this to have to read.

I do not know either men involved, and can only imagine that due to the vitriolic outburst, it was instigated by anger and jealousy.

There is too much hurtful and cruel accusations on this lovely little Island, and it is about time that this kind of behaviour is put aside and common decency and respect prevail, as role models, standards must be maintained in order to teach our youth.
