Gazette proves it is truly small world
Dear Sir,
I go online every day to read The Royal Gazette and was so surprised to see the article about this Bermudian who was involved in an award-winning marketing campaign for a beachfront resort in Florida — Duncan Tavares.
Well, we certainly do live in a “small world”.
I was driving along the A1A on Miami Beach last weekend and this car pulls up next to me, signals for me to roll down my window — I thought he was looking for directions — he says to me “I like those Bermuda stickers on your bumper” and said that he was from Bermuda.
I replied: “I am also. What is your name?”
“Duncan Tavares,” he replied. The same person in your article.
This really is a “small world” in which we live.
Good luck to Mr Tavares. Surfside is a really nice area.
