Let’s raise a glass to ‘Crazy Tony’

A toast to “Crazy Tony”

Dear Sir,

Tony Astarita passed away last week. Most people in Bermuda would not recognise that name, but anyone who frequented the Little Venice Restaurant over the past 35 years would recognise the name “Crazy Tony”.

Tony was not just a waiter for the Little Venice Restaurant, but he also brought smiles to many of its patrons over the years. Whether he was wearing his Viking helmet, or serving a rubber chicken to an unsuspecting customer, Tony always made dining at the restaurant a memorable experience.

For those of us who were entertained by Crazy Tony over the years, let’s lift a glass and wish him RIP. He will be always remembered.
