Dear Editor,

Last week I was fortunate enough to spend three days in Bermuda on NCL’s Breakaway.

On our first day we took the ferry into St George. We met “ Uncle Keith” who had a yellow mini bus. He was great and told us a lot of interesting things about your beautiful island. When he dropped us off at the beach I realised I left my brand new camera on the seat. I walked into Gombey’s Restaurant and a very nice man at the bar (whose name I do not remember) called Keith on his cell phone and Keith immediately turned around and came back with my camera.

This meant a lot to me as I had just received it a few days prior to my trip as a gift.

Nowhere else I have travelled in the world has such kind, considerate, honest locals!

The next day we were fortunate enough to meet “Tall Troy” who was also a fantastic and funny guy. He dropped us at Gates Fort for the beautiful views.

I can’t say thank you enough for the hospitality shown to us while we were visiting. We are excited to return and have already booked another cruise for next September.
