Bermuda needs more Lionels

I want to publicly thank Lionel Thompson for taking care of Cavendish Road in Devonshire. Every Sunday, weather permitting, I see Lionel on Cavendish Road cutting back overgrown foliage and then sweeping — yes, sweeping — it up.

He doesn't use a blower, which only moves the cuttings to another area and sends dust along with it. This isn't his job, he doesn't get paid for it; he does it because he wants to.

Bermuda needs more Lionels!
