A last plea to reconsider

Dear Sir,

Bermuda Olympic Association president Judy Simons

The following was addressed to Judy Simons, president of the Bermuda Olympic Association. As a fellow Olympian, I know first-hand the enormous effort that goes into preparation and training in one's quest to attend sporting festivals, especially the Olympics.

In my opinion, the two swimmers [Madelyn] Moore and [Jesse] Washington should be allowed to accept the kind invitation to attend the upcoming Games.

I urge the Bermuda Olympic Association to reconsider its position and allow these devoted athletes to fulfil their dreams.
