BOA, please uphold our proud tradition

Dear Sir,

The Bermuda Olympic Association has a long tradition of sending swimmers to the Olympic Games. In 1936, only swimmers were on the Bermuda Olympic Team.

From 1936 to 2016, Bermuda has sent swimmers to 11 Summer Olympics.

Can we please carry on this tradition and give Jesse Washington and Madelyn Moore this wonderful experience.

My father, Donald Shanks, had the Olympic experience at the 1948 Olympics in London, competing in the backstroke — something he was proud of, as are his family to this day.
