Retailer Sail On’s new store, For Now by Sail On, is finding success in its new location in the Washington Mall.Business is booming, said Penny Watlington of Sail On’s third shop, which is located in the space that once housed All Wrapped Up, a long-time retail card and gift store that closed its doors in November after 17 years in business.“We are told that it is a ‘breath of fresh air’,” explained Ms Watlington. “Sail On now has three shops and has been successful because of consistent excellent service by fantastic, involved staff and management as well as our buyers’ awareness of our customers’ needs and wishes.”Offering unique furniture pieces, wall art and decorative items, For Now by Sail On has proved to be a hit — so much so that within a week of the store opening, more than half their stock has been sold.“It has been quite a week,” said Ms Watlington. “Our loyal customer base has responded positively.”The store originally opened in 1985.
