Three major cleaning firms on the Island have joined forces to create one company employing more than 100 full- and part-time staff.Bermuda Cleaning Ltd announced it’s merging with Bermuda Janitorial Supplies Ltd, leading providers of residential and commercial cleaning services and supplies, and Town & Country Carpet Limited, one of the Island’s best-known carpet cleaning companies. The three companies have formed the Bermuda Cleaning Group (BCL Group).Carl Soares owned Town & Country while Bermuda Cleaning and Bermuda Janitorial Services are sister companies, owned by Faries family. The entire Town & Country operation has moved to the BCL Group’s premises located at 23 Serpentine Road, just on the outskirts of Hamilton.BCL Group general manager Ryan Faries proclaimed, “With the combined synergies of the three companies we now have over 60 years of experience with 40 full-time uniformed staff, 90-part-time staff and 12 commercial vehicles.“Working together, we now provide a one-stop shop for all cleaning and supply needs to both the residential and commercial markets in Bermuda.”With clients today expecting more for less, the BCL Group will be able to meet any client demands, big or small. The large fleet of cleaning vehicles and staff are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.Mr Faries, added: “Our mission is to develop mutually beneficial relationships with our clients, employees and vendors by fulfilling our promise to provide excellent quality services. Because of that, all numbers and contact information (295-1378) remains the same, and we are making sure that our existing customers know that it’s ‘business as usual’.“The only difference is that clients should now drop area rugs off at BCL's premises for on-site professional steam cleaning!”Mr Faries concluded, “Bermuda is such a unique Island and has so many opportunities available for those who are willing to go the extra mile. As a Group, we are committed to providing the highest levels of honesty, integrity and dedication. We look forward to continuing our quality service and welcome Town & Country on board.”Office and commercial cleaning has been the base of the company’s services since the conception of the BCL Group, offering janitorial services with a complete office care programme that makes use of high quality machines and equipment, and offering a wide range of cleaning supplies that include industrial strength and eco-friendly products that are low allergenic, non-toxic, eco-responsible and hydrogen peroxide based.Currently the BCL Group of Companies holds membership with the Association of Cleaning and Restoration, the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI), the Bermuda Employers Council, the International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA) and Greenrock Bermuda. The full range of the Group’s services can be found at www.bermudacleaning.bm.
