A new storage firm has opened its doors.

Bermuda EZ Self Storage — housed in a purpose-built building in Harvey Road, Paget — offers a range of storage space for household or commercial use.

Company manager Phillipa Baisden said that the owners had aimed to create a warehouse to store industrial equipment and materials for the construction industry — but spotted a gap in the market and altered their plans.

She added: “Basically, Bermuda homes are not built like North American homes that have ample attic and basement space or three-car garages for storage, so many of our residents need additional storage.

“Additionally, businesses find that storing inventory on-site is costly and they are always looking for off-site warehouse storage that is more reasonable.”

The new building offers space from 5ft by 5ft up to 10ft by 10ft in climate controlled conditions with 24-hour access.

Rental contracts from month to month are available and discounts are on offer for February and for those who sign up for contracts of six months or longer.
