Networking opportunity for students seeking ICT careers
College and university students can learn about the Technology Leadership Forum (TLF) and its summer internship programme at a networking event tomorrow at the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club.
The event is designed to prepare students for a career in the ICT (information and communications technology) industry. They also have an opportunity to mix and mingle with IT industry professionals in various disciplines and hear from current interns and alumni about their experiences. Tuesday’s event will also allow the students a chance to research what employers are looking for and which direction they may want to take their studies.
Ian Cook, president and CEO of BAS, said “We are proud to be the gold sponsor for the TLF ICT summer networking event, a one-of-a-kind opportunity for personal interactions with top ICT employers. It is an exciting way to demonstrate that the programme is growing through their inclusion of new training modules, the development of new programmes and increased alumni involvement.
The event is from 5.30pm until 8pm. To register visit www.TLF.bm
