Chamber offers QuickBooks session

Accounting tool: the Chamber will offer a session on QuickBooks

A “lunch and learn” session on an online accountancy tool is to be held by the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce.

Kendaree Burgess, the Chamber’s executive director, said: “We are pleased to offer our members a wide variety of learning options to help improve their business processes.

“The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to helping local businesses thrive, learning to utilise tools to make money management easier is just one step in doing so.”

QuickBooks is used by a variety of businesses to manage finances and includes payrolls and sales sheets.

The system is said to be ideal for small businesses as it can be accessed on the move, leading to higher productivity.

The course, to be held at the Chamber’s offices in Hamilton on Friday, June 3, will be run by QuickBooks expert Winnelle Simons and is designed towards accountants and business owners who manage their own finances.

Participants should bring their own mobile device, smartphone or tablet.

The course, put on in conjunction with mobile network CellOne, costs $20 for members of the Chamber and $40 for non-members.

For more information or to register, call the Chamber on 295-4201 or e-mail slee@bcc.bm.
