IBC Bermuda Ltd has promoted Kevin Smith to managing director.

Mr Smith joined IBC 20 years ago, as manager of IBC/ZipX UPS at LF Wade International Airport. He went on to become vice-president of airport operations in 2005 working with operating staff, customs and physical importation and exportation. In 2016, Mr Smith was promoted to vice-president, operations, managing all IBC operating staff and local courier and messenger departments.

Mr Smith said: “I am delighted and grateful for this new role as managing director of IBC Bermuda Ltd. These are exciting times. More people are shopping online than ever before.

“In 2019, we will continue to innovate and provide Bermuda with the best air express experience possible.”
