Penny joins Elevate’s Bermuda team

Executive search and recruitment firm Elevate Executive Selection Bermuda Ltd has appointed Shaun Penny to its team.

He has 15 years of experience in agency and corporate recruitment, with a background in finance, banking, IT and healthcare.

Mr Penny was previously with Mobia, a technology firm. He has also worked with Sobeys and Royal Bank of Canada, where he worked on recruitment projects across Canada. He is originally from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

Elevate's Sylvia Jones, director, Bermuda operations, said: “Shaun's strengths further enhance the Elevate service delivery to our clients. Having successfully conducted recruitment drives across all of Canada, Shaun is well versed in the use of various search tools to ensure the widest pool of talent is considered.

“Shaun's candidate mapping skills will prove immensely useful to the new start-ups that we work with and his ability to engage passive candidates is of tremendous value for difficult-to-fill roles. Shaun is a great team player and his easy disposition and keen golfing skills make him a great fit for Bermuda. We are excited that Shaun is now part of our Elevate team.”

Elevate is a full-service recruitment agency, providing executive search, leadership coaching, outplacement, career care and immigration support. It was established in 2014, and has offices and strategic partners overseas.
