Company offers innovative disinfection solution

A new way of disinfection with an electrostatic sprayer to coat surfaces and help combat viruses, bacteria and mould is being offered by a Bermuda business.

AA Solutions has a backpack sprayer that gives a small positive electrical charge to the sanitisation and disinfectant chemicals it released.

The company said that caused the spray droplets to be attracted to the negative-charged surfaces being disinfected and wrap around them.

AA Solutions added it used “List N, hospital-grade disinfectants, EPA-registered and approved 99.9 per cent effective against Covid-19, germs, bacteria and other viruses”.

The company said it had targeted commercial customers, office buildings, hotels, hospitals, schools, and households.

A company spokesman said the sprayer backpack can hold enough disinfectant to sanitise areas of up to 40,000 sq ft. Two smaller devices for more limited applications are on order. The spokesman said interest had started to pick up as word had spread.

He said he saw the sprayer when he was in the United States on holiday in February.

The spokesman added: He said: “I hope that even after this Covid-19, people continue to use these procedures and take these precautions to disinfect because this is a virus right now, but you never know when the next one might come.”

More details about the system, and how to book, are available at www.aasolutionsbda.com, and through the AA Solutions BDA Facebook page
