Proposed change of control of Transact

The Regulatory Authority is inviting members of the public, electronic communications sectoral participants and sectoral providers and other interested parties to comment on a proposed change of control notification request from Transact Ltd.

Seeking public views: the Regulatory Authority

It is proposed that Transact will shift 100 per cent of its shares within the Digicel Bermuda structure.

Digicel is proposing to transfer the ownership of Transact from Wireless Holdings Limited to Telecommunications (Bermuda & West Indies) Limited and is inviting the public to comment on the proposed change of control for Transact Ltd.

The proposed transaction does not involve the sale of any assets or the change in beneficial ownership of any of the members of the Bermuda group of Digicel Companies

The proposed change of Control document can be accessed by visiting the RA’s website at www.ra.bm and clicking the ‘Respond to an Open Public Consultation‘ link. The deadline for comment midnight on October 26.
