Leadership series offered by Chamber of Commerce

The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce is to present a six-week series about leadership.

The series, Critical Practices for Leading a Team, is open to members and non-members, and will be held via Zoom from 9am until 10.30am, each Thursday from February 18 until March 25.

The series will be presented by Richard James, a Franklin Covey leadership consultant.

The Chamber said the workshop series will provide all levels of leaders an opportunity to focus on both a mindset and skill set enhancing their leadership role.

The 90-minute sessions will include topics such as holding regular one-on-ones, effective delegation, creating a culture of feedback, leading your team through change and managing your time and energy as a leader.

Attendees will explore the critical mindset shifts that will maximise their success as a leader of others, understand how to increase engagement of team members, deepen their understanding of employee issues and help them solve problems for themselves.

Kendaree Burgess, chief executive officer of the Chamber, said: “The Chamber is excited to present this six-week series offering exceptional professional support to all leaders, whether you are a business owner, executive, manager or supervisor, these sessions will provide an educational opportunity and enhance your leadership skills.”

Attendees are encouraged to register for the entire series. However, registration for individual sessions is possible.

Registration is $225 for Chamber members and $300 for non-members and can be purchased in advance from the Chamber.
