OneComm offers improved smartphone data plans

Promotional holiday unlimited smartphone data plans from One Communications that were available for the holidays, can now be obtained going forward, the company has announced.

One Communications said the unlimited smartphone data plans with no overages, became available on November 26 as part of the holiday promotions.

But unlimited plans are now part of the smartphone line-up and start at $150 for 30GB of full-speed data.

Beyond this, customers can use unlimited data at reduced speeds which is designed to facilitate web browsing, engaging in social media, and communications such as e-mails and voice calls over applications. Additional full-speed data can be purchased for $15 for 10GB.

Chief Commercial Officer Brian Lonergan said: “We are pleased to launch new plans to provide our customers with endless worry-free data.”

“Customers do more with their phones everyday and they want to use data without limits. With our new plans, you can browse, chat and stream without the worry of overage fees.

“These plans represent another critical step forward in our commitment to creating the best experience for our customers.”

The unlimited plans are now available, and customers can choose from 30GB, 60GB and 120GB of full-speed data.

The plans are eligible for our NextOne programme and provide discounts from $900 to $1500 off a smartphone device.

In addition to the unlimited plans, One Communications recently announced Unlimited Data Roaming in the USA with 250MB at full-speed.
