Wellness clinic to close next month

Health Infusion Bermuda, the wellness clinic in Pembroke that was opened two years ago by sisters Bobbi and Nikki Marshall, is to close on March 27.

“The Health Infusion Team” sent an e-mail to “clients and friends”, which said: “It is with infinite sadness that we write this letter to you, our amazing and loyal friends and supporters.

“After much deliberation and many sleepless nights, we have made the difficult decision to close Health Infusion Bermuda.”

They said that the business opened in February 2020 “just a few weeks before the first Covid-related shelter in place.

“Health Infusion Bermuda began as a dream that was transformed into a reality.

“Unfortunately, the subsequent lockdowns, disrupted supply chains and a myriad of other Covid-related challenges have proved to be overwhelming and have led to this unfortunate and premature ending.”

They added: “The founder's vision was to create a space where all would be welcome, a sanctuary where each individual's wellbeing was a priority. It is our hope that we have started you on a journey towards wellness and that you will continue to enhance and enrich your lives with the knowledge you have gained from your experiences in the clinic.

“Health Infusion Bermuda wishes you all the best and offers heartfelt thanks to all the clients, and friends who have faithfully supported us during the last two years. We are honoured that you chose to share our dream with us. Thank you for trusting us and sharing your stories … we are so grateful!

“In closing, we would like to commend Dr Rick Olazabal who has consulted with, and advised hundreds of island locals and guest residents with his seemingly endless knowledge of naturopathic medicine, always giving the best care and advice that he could provide.

“Dr Rick's experience and research ensured that any client, patient, or friend who had a consultation or treatment with him, left the clinic armed with valuable information and guidelines that would assist them towards better health.

“Enormous thanks must also be extended to our beloved office manager (and mom), Dee Dee [Debbie Walsh-Brown], who welcomed each and every person through the Health Infusion door with a cheery ‘hello’ and a smile that even her mask could not hide!”

Health Infusion Bermuda is to offer all services and retail items at a 25 per cent discount for the month of March.

All gift certificates will be honoured until March 27. Refunds are also available.

The owners declined to discuss the closure.
