HSBC celebrates International Women’s Day

Tonight, the Front Street façade of the HSBC Bermuda’s Harbourview Centre will be illuminated purple, the official colour of International Women’s Day, as just one of the ways HSBC is marking the occasion, the bank said today.

Head of wealth and personal banking & marketing, Tanya Bule said: “International Women’s Day provides us with another opportunity to recognise the contributions of HSBC’s female employees, as well as women from across Bermuda and around the world, who continue to make great strides towards achieving women’s equality as well as equity within the workplace.

“The bank is committed to gender equality and is resolute in the belief that women can and do play as critical a role as their male counterparts in ensuring overall business success.

“In 2022 the theme for International Women’s Day is #breakthebias and this provides the platform for all of at HSBC to challenge ourselves, in ways that will contribute towards the bank becoming a truly inclusive organisation.”
