The managing partner of Carey Olsen Bermuda has expressed his delight after the law firm was a double award winner in the RG Top Ten Employer of the Year in Partnership with PwC.

Carey Olsen was named Best Employer in Bermuda for the second time, having also won in 2019, and also won the Diversity Award.

Michael Hanson said winning the two awards is something of which to be immensely proud.

“It is testament to the value we place at Carey Olsen on creating a culture that is supportive and inclusive while providing our people with the opportunity to grow just as our firm has been growing.”

He added: "To have received this award in competition not only with other law firms, but also other well-recognised organisations in Bermuda, is a big achievement for us as a business and as a firm.

“We really value the talented, highly experienced and globally minded lawyers and business teams at Carey Olsen who work together to provide our clients with a truly market-leading service."

The firm said its Bermuda office will be five years old in November and currently has 55 employees. It has ten partners with three having been promoted in the past year.

This is the 12th year for the awards, which were presented at a breakfast event at the Rosewood Tuckers Point on Wednesday morning.
