Voting has opened for the Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award presented by Womb Bermuda.

Womb, or Women Who Own or Manage Businesses, said voting is open until November 13.

Some 40 women have been nominated for the 2021/2022 award.

Stephanie Lee, facilitator of Womb Bermuda, said: “Every year, the list of nominations grows. As part of the nomination form, we ask that persons share a bit on why they are nominating the business/individual for Female Entrepreneur of the Year 2021/2022.

“The stories individuals leave are inspirational, showcasing the resilience and determination of Bermuda’s female entrepreneurs.

“This is a People’s Choice voting system. Vote for your favourite female entrepreneur and encourage your friends and family to do the same.

“Knowing that the community is driving the nominations and voting is a huge boost to these women, personally and professionally! I am excited to see who will be this year’s winner!”

The top three nominees will be invited to the fifth Inspi[Her], the 2022 Women’s Entrepreneurship Weekend Retreat presented by the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation.

The retreat will be held from November 18-20 at Cambridge Beaches Resort & Spa, where the finalists and winner will be announced.
