ReGen Group Limited, formerly AG Holdings Limited, has hired Keith Jernigan as director of operations after the company’s rebrand.

Mr Jernigan joins the company after a 20-year career in leading multiple security and service companies in the United States, the Cayman Islands and Bermuda including Bermuda Security Group’s electronic services division, The Security Centre (Grand Cayman), ADT and Johnson Controls.

The company said his experience has crossed various industries, such as government, commercial and retail.

Mr Jernigan maintains his involvement in a variety of security industry-specific associations, such as Society of Military Engineers and American Society for Industrial Security.

He said: “Around the globe, we are seeing increased awareness and visibility in terms of sustainability and energy efficiency.

“The ReGen Group of Companies is uniquely positioned to help businesses and the community realise those possibilities. I am looking forward to working towards the development and execution of initiatives that could have such a positive impact.”

The group of companies said its new name, ReGen — derived from regenerative design — builds on the company’s core vision of sustainability by not just looking to sustain but to “restore and renew” the company’s energy processes, building management and engineering design with a focus on the environment and sustainability.

In addition, it said, regenerative design has at its core a systems-centric and holistic approach towards analysing processes and outcomes, which is fundamental to each of the companies within the group — AirCare Limited, iEPC Limited and IFM Limited.

The managing director of ReGen, Azeem Khan, said: “Transitioning from AG Holdings to ReGen is more than just a rebrand of our group of companies. It is a renewed commitment to help build a more efficient and sustainable Bermuda.

“The companies within the ReGen Group provide HVAC, facilitates management, engineering services that will assist Bermuda in building a cleaner, greener and healthier community for the 21st century.

“We are excited to announce the addition of Keith to our ReGen team. Our entire team, including Keith, are excited for the future and motivated to make a real difference in how we live our lives. We look forward to expanding our service and product offerings to regenerate and renew Bermuda.”

ReGen Group Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Liberty Group Limited (Bermuda), which is owned by Algonquin Power and Utilities Corp.
