AP Marine Bermuda has secured the dealership for Chaparral Boats on the island.

The company said Chaparral is a brand with more than 50 years of experience in boat building.

“We are excited to introduce Chaparral Boats to the Bermuda market,” said Michael Araujo, president of AP Marine Bermuda.

"Their reputation for quality and innovation aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing the best possible marine products to our customers.”

AP Marine said Chaparral has received numerous awards owing to their meticulous design using the latest innovation for durability and comfort.

It said the extended running surface of Chaparral Boats is a unique feature that prevents passengers from getting wet during high-speed manoeuvres.

The boats' deep cockpits and front keel design also make them an ideal choice for saltwater and coastal boating conditions.

Despite their exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail, AP Marine said, Chaparral Boats are priced competitively with mass-produced brands even though they produce only 2,000 boats annually as they emphasise quality over quantity.

AP Marine said Chaparral Boats are powered by Yamaha Outboard engines, which are specifically designed to withstand the rigours of saltwater and coastal boating conditions.
