Law firm Conyers is offering recent graduates new training opportunities in its trust services and corporate services departments.

“Our trainee opportunities have been designed to provide recent graduates with invaluable industry experience, mentorship and a platform to build upon their academic foundation whilst developing their career in a corporate environment,” Conyers global head of human resources Lisa Spencer-Arscott said.

Selected candidates will participate in a structured programme that combines theoretical learning with practical hands-on client work, enabling them to apply their knowledge and contribute to real-world projects.

The aim is to equip trainees with the necessary skills and insights to embark on successful careers in corporate and/or trust services.

“Conyers encourages students from diverse academic backgrounds, including business, wealth management, communications and related fields, to apply for these unique opportunities,” Ms Spencer-Arscott said. “Candidates should possess effective communications and problem-solving skills and a genuine passion for learning.”

Trust Services trainee Trey Tucker started at Conyers in June 2021, a few years after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in business management/administration.

“After working in project management and event organisation, he was looking to broaden his knowledge within the many avenues of corporate management.

“I want to test myself in a demanding and rigorous space and learn to implement the most efficient processes that positively contribute to the firm,” Mr Tucker said.

Corporate Services trainee Rebecca Davidson came to Conyers in June 2022, just four days after graduating high school.

“She is interested in pursuing a career in corporate governance, and she hopes to learn through the trainee programme how corporate services contributes to the overall success of the firm.

“Conyers continues to prove they are committed to my success and growth and to the importance of building the future of Conyers through the youth of Bermuda,” she said.

Trainee applications will be accepted until July 7.
