Ignite Bermuda is to hold an open house for all aspiring, emerging and established local entrepreneurs and community leaders.

The event will be held on Wednesday, December 20, at 5.30pm.

A spokeswoman said: “This is your chance to dive into interactive info sessions, engage in dynamic break-out groups and gain insights about the Ignite accelerator programme and the upcoming recruitment process for our eighth cohort. Plus, you’ll get to meet our dedicated team and connect with a number of our alumni.”

The open house will take place in the Ignite Hub at 14 Wesley Street in Hamilton and attendees are required to pre-register.

Ignite said applications for its next cohort of the free, five-month accelerator programme will open in January.

The organisation said it is on the hunt for applications from local entrepreneurs and innovators across all industries, from the blue economy to health innovation, hospitality, retail, non-profit organisations and beyond.

No prerequisites, certain stage of business, or business plan is required.

The spokeswoman said: “We’re committed to empowering local entrepreneurs and community leaders to continuously develop themselves and their businesses or organisations.”

She added: “We’re delighted to collaborate with the Bermuda Ocean Prosperity Programme and the Health Council Bermuda in their efforts to support and accelerate innovators in the sustainability and healthcare sectors.”
