Six lawyers from across Appleby’s global Private Client & Trusts and Dispute Resolution practices, including three from Bermuda, have been recognised in the 2024 edition of the Private Client Global Elite Directory.

Bermuda partner Vanessa Schrum was ranked as “Private Client Global Elite” by the ALM and Law.com directory.

In addition, Bermuda partner Hannah Tildesley and Bermuda counsel Caljonah Smith were recognised within the “Private Client Global Excellence” category.

Launched in 2017 with the awareness that referrals and recommendations were absolutely key to the private client sector, Appleby said, the Private Client Global Elite has served as a go-to resource for the world’s leading private client and trust and estates litigation talent, as well as rising stars within the industry.

Appleby said its Private Client & Trusts team advises on all aspects of trust & estates law, including the establishment, administration, restructuring and termination of private, charitable, and commercial trusts and foundations.

The firm said the group’s lawyers are frequently instructed by institutional and independent trustees, family offices, high net worth individuals and other blue-chip institutions.
