A pop-up store selling products by local vendors is to open its doors for a six-month run following a successful Christmas.

Located at Washington Mall, lower level, Lookie Lookie is run by Bermudian Kimwana Eve and is a collective effort, showcasing the creativity and craftsmanship of more than 30 island businesses.

“Every product in our store is either made in Bermuda or owned by a Bermudian, emphasising our commitment to supporting small businesses and fostering community growth,” said Ms Eve.

She added: “Following the resounding success of our Christmas 30-day pop-up, we’re delighted to extend our presence for a longer period, providing both locals and tourists with an extended opportunity to discover and support Bermudian talent.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation and our private sponsors for their invaluable support in making this venture possible.

“Their belief in our vision has been instrumental in bringing Lookie Lookie to life.”

Ms Eve originally founded the online business directory Lookie Lookie which was designed to connect local companies and customers and evolved into a bricks and mortar business as well.

The shop will open on March 15 from 10am to 6pm, except Sunday when it will be closed.
