A spokeswoman said the contest “promises to be a highlight for innovative founders and tech enthusiasts”.

She added: “The 2024 International Tech Summit Start-up Pitch Contest is a unique platform for start-ups to showcase their innovative ideas before a distinguished panel of experienced entrepreneurs, investors, international judges, and prominent athletes.”

Organisers said the benefits of participation in the contest include showcasing the start-up, receiving expert feedback, networking opportunities, and the potential for mentorship and further development of the business idea.

The spokeswoman said: “We are looking for 10 ambitious teams who are ready to take their start-ups to the next level. Whether you are at the idea stage or scaling up, we encourage you to apply.”
