Veronica Gordon joins board of Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd

Bermudian lawyer Veronica Gordon has joined the board of directors of Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd, the parent company of The Royal Gazette.

Ms Gordon joined the board at the company’s annual general meeting, at which Carl Paiva retired as a director.

Board chairman Stephen Davidson said: “The board would like to thank Carl for his longstanding service to the company, in particular his deep experience in business leadership and marketing.

“Carl’s abiding interest in Bermuda and The Royal Gazette has been a benefit to our shareholders for many years.”

BPHL said Ms Gordon brings diverse management, legal and governance experience to the company.

She has more than 20 years of business leadership experience with a strong background in media and real estate development gained while working in Bermuda and Canada.

Ms Gordon earned a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and Master of Laws at the University of Buckingham and has been called to the bar in Bermuda, the UK and Ontario.
