Law firm Kennedys Bermuda has made Vinesh Mistry a senior associate.

Prior to joining Kennedys, Mr Mistry practised as a barrister in London and at several international law firms, in pre- and post-qualification roles.

The firm said his rare blend of professional experience allows his case analysis and strategy to be fuelled by analytical rigour, common sense and an understanding of the real world.

Mark Chudleigh, Bermuda managing partner said Mr Mistry has made a commendable contribution to the Bermuda office in the two years he has been on island.

“As a member of the dispute resolution team, Vinesh has worked on multiple large-loss Bermuda Form insurance arbitrations, significant share appraisal actions (including associated appeals to the Privy Council) and has been named a  recommended lawyer for dispute resolution (Bermuda) by The Legal 500 Caribbean,” Mr Chudleigh said.

In addition to his work, Mr Mistry also runs the Bermuda office games and helps to organise charitable and social events.

Mr Chudleigh said his experience brought a thoughtful and grounded approach to complex disputes.

“He has quickly become a valued member of the team,” the managing partner said. “Vinesh’s contribution to the team has been significant and this promotion is a well-deserved recognition of his achievements and continued potential.”
