FryDays Bounce House to close

Closing down: FryDays Bounce Park in Dockyard will shut its doors on July 22 (Photograph supplied)

FryDays Bounce House in Dockyard has announced its closure this month after eight years in business.

In 2018 Mstira Weeks and Vic Ball opened a trampoline park at 7 Sail Loft Lane in Sandys. Five years later they tossed out the trampolines in favour of inflatable equipment.

In a statement, FryDays said that like many businesses, it reached a crossroads where the decision was whether to continue investing in the future of the business or to pivot in a new direction.

“After careful consideration, we have decided that this is the right time to step away from the family entertainment industry,” Ms Weeks and Mr Ball said.

They said since opening, FryDays Bounce House has served as a family-friendly space where children could celebrate birthdays, attend camps, enjoy school breaks and simply have fun.

“Throughout our journey, we made a conscious effort to keep our admission prices affordable so that as many children as possible could experience the joy of play,” a spokesman said.

They were grateful for the support shown to the Trampoline Park and later the Bounce House over the years.

“To every parent who trusted us with their child’s birthday celebration, every camp and organisation that visited, every guardian who brought a child through our doors and every child whose laughter filled our facility — thank you,” FryDays said. “It has truly been an honour to be part of your memories.”

They encouraged the community to come by at least one more time before they close on July 22.

Additionally, members of the public who are interested in purchasing equipment or items are invited to contact them at 236-5867 for more information.

“FryDays Bounce House extends its sincere appreciation to the Bermuda community for embracing us over the past eight years,” the owners said. “While this chapter is coming to an end, we leave with full hearts and countless memories of the happiness shared within our walls.”

All party bookings and camps bookings will be honoured until July 22.
