Twenty nine students took part in the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club’s internship programme this summer.

The Pitts Bay Road, Pembroke hotel said the young people brought enthusiasm, fresh perspectives and a strong work ethic to their roles, making valuable contributions across the organisation.

“Their dedication and willingness to learn helped support our teams while gaining meaningful professional experience,” a spokesman for the hotel said.

Tim Morrison, general manager, noted: “We are grateful for the energy and commitment our summer students bring each year.

“It has been a pleasure to watch them grow, develop new skills and make a positive impact during their time with us. We wish them every success as they continue their educational journeys.”

Sales and marketing summer intern Nicole Smith said: “Through my interaction with the other summer students, it is clear they were incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work here. I can't help but feel the same way.”

She said that although her time at the hotel was short, she was able to meet some amazing people who worked exceptionally well together.

“With their guidance, I feel much more equipped to take the next steps in my career,” she said. “It saddens me to say goodbye to everyone so soon, but I couldn’t be more thankful to have been a part of the Hamilton Princess family this summer.”

Summer students included Andryah Fishington, Ashley Dyer, Azaria Atwell, Benjamin Steinoff, Brandon MacDougall, Daylen Scott, Ella Pethick, Ezra Dyer, Jah’Shon Jeffers, Keegan Dyer, Ma’az Moore, Marcus Allers, Maxwell Lacey, Mikayla Kelly, Miracale Francis, Narai Franklin, Nicole Smith, Noah Maharaj, R Destani Smith, Raven Peterson-Clarke, Sawyer Adderley, Tonshay’ah Gift, Trinite Simons, Tristan Orchard, Tyler Pethick, Tyree Fox, Waynae Simmons, Yasir Boukhloufi and Yasmyne Smith.

Mr Morrison thanked the students and said the hotel will look forward to their future accomplishments.

He said: “Their hard work and achievements are a source of pride for our organisation and we are proud to have been part of their summer experience.”

He also recognised Bermuda Workforce Development for its ongoing partnership and support in helping create meaningful employment and learning opportunities for Bermuda’s young people.
