Bacardi Ltd has been ranked the top spirits company on Forbes’s World’s Best Employers list for 2026.

The Bermudian-headquartered, family-owned company placed 69th globally, up 17 places from last year’s ranking.

The list, compiled by Forbes and Statista, is based on more than 300,000 independent employee surveys across more than 50 countries.

Workers were asked whether they would recommend their employer to friends or family and rated companies on workplace culture, career opportunities and other factors.

Dave Ingram, Bacardi’s chief people and transformation officer, said the company used employee feedback to improve its workplace.

“We want people to feel clear on how they can grow, confident they can make their mark, and supported to do their best work,” he said.

Bacardi employs more than 7,000 people and sells its spirits and wines in more than 160 markets.

Bacardi said its latest global engagement survey had a 91 per cent participation rate. It added that employees were offered development opportunities and experiences to build familiarity with the company’s brands, history and industry.

This year’s Forbes World’s Best Employers ranking included 900 companies, the largest list issued under the programme.
